Bad review are partly justified by a rushed release/promises not fullfiled, partly just dumb review bombing. Tl dr: the game is very decent, just not one of the best in the genre. It is just that 1°) although very decent, it cannot compare to the high standards set by the 'best' games of the genre (Grim Dawn, POE.), 2°) almost all of the original development ideas that might have made it rise above the mass have been abandonned, resulting in a very basic, and therfore disappointing ARPG for many, and 3°) the release has been rushed with missing content (2 acts missing, seemingly 'placeholder' endgame modes etc), bugs (although nothing too bad from my experience, just some pretty minor bugs, but others seem to have eperienced heavier issues) and an online multiplayer that did not work for days at launch which resulted in a pretty heavy review bombing.
