In a devastating flash forward sequence, we see an older, more mature Boruto, sporting a scar over his right eye. Given that Naruto celebrated his seventeenth birthday during that time, it’s presumed that he is around thirty-two years old at the beginning of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. The series takes place fifteen years after the events of the fourth great ninja war.
